Tomás Sheridan
As a filmmaker Tomás has explored many areas of production gaining an understanding of the entire process of the creation of a film. Extensive practice in photographic arts over the past ten years helped him develop skills in narrative through imagery. Tomás wrote and directed two short films whilst studying film at Napier University (now Screen Academy Scotland) but shifted his focus towards documentary after graduating in 2006. In 2008 he received funding from Scottish Screen, UK film council and BBC Scotland to make "Archive of Dreams" which has already won recognition both in Edinburgh (Audience and Jury Prizes at Jim Poole's Awards) and Turin Film Festival (Premio Chicca Richelmy for best short).
He is now developing a feature documentary with Accidental Media: Babel's Market.
