Andy Green

Andrew Green grew up in Glasgow and gained his screen industry experience in Soho before returning to Scotland; he is one of the company directors of Accidental Media and head of content development and acquisitions. He is our lead producer and is currently developing our slate of feature films and further building the company in fiction, documentary and online content. Andy's most recent film as producer is "Tomorrow's Fairground", which screened on BBC2 December 2009.

Andy's fifteen years' experience as a video and film editor cover a broad spectrum of styles and contexts, from promos and commercials to broadcast documentaries and short dramas. He won a Cannes Media Lion Award while working as an editor for Saatchi & Saatchi. As an editor he can count MTV, Lucasfilm and ARTE among his clients. He developed and co-directed "Souvenirs" – a short documentary about immigrants in the UK – and also developed and edited "Then a Summer Starts" – a short fiction about teenage love, both funded by Scottish Screen and UK Film Council.

Andy has attended the NPA 'Five Week Producers Intensive Training' and has completed a 2-year training in TV Production and Operation. The music video he produced for Scottish band Le Reno Amps was nominated for a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award 2010.
